About Us

One On One Community Based Programmes hereafter referred to as One On One is a Companies and Intellectual Properties Commission (formerly CIPRO) registered not for profit company, with its main focus education and health. The company has also been granted exemption from income tax as it meets the Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) requirements as laid down by the South African Revenue Services Tax Exemption Unit (SARS TEU) in terms of Section 18A of the Income Tax Act. Although operating from its head office in Alberton, its mandate extends to all the provinces of South Africa.

Vision

To promote, advance and develop education; training and research processes at all learning levels through all learning institutions without limitations, for and behalf of the South African communities.

Mission

The mission of the organisation is to bring the vision to reality by employing numerous practical approaches including, among others; the coordination of public private partnerships for delivery of cognitive content and solutions, the facilitation of awareness campaigns to encourage public private partnerships, the facilitation of workshops and conferences to encourage constructive debates on key subjects as well as enhance skills development projects to increase the number of practitioners in South Africa

As it is not healthy for any organisation to exist in a vacuum, collaboration and teamwork interventions will enhance the ability of our organisation to deliver the required community services needed for community empowerment purposes.

  • Stewardship – Conduct all business activities in a responsible and transparent manner, as well as demonstrate the fact that the organisation is an important custodian of assets it’s been entrusted with in favour of the beneficiaries

Accreditation

One On One has been verified by BEE Online in accordance with the Codes of Good Practice issued under Section 9(1) of the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act No 53 of 2003 on the 9th of February 2007. This means that One On One has a current Broad Based BEE Status of Level Four Contributor.
